Rain increases late Saturday afternoon
LYNHCBURG, Va. (WSET) — If you have outside plans late Saturday afternoon and evening, be prepared for rain or possibly a thunderstorm. Brief downpours are possible. Warnings are not expected.
Rain looks more likely Saturday as rain moves our way and reforms and moves across the mountains.
The air will be more humid and warmer (more fuel), and I’ve raised the forecast high and rain chances.

The “window” will be from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., — sooner if you’re in Roanoke.
Rain totals up to 0.50” are possible if you receive rain—it is not 100% coverage. Some will receive less than 0.1″.
Otherwise, our weekend is dry.
You’ll notice a north breeze and drier air on Sunday.
