New names recommended for 3 Army bases in Virginia that mention Confederates

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Three Military bases in Virginia named in honor of Confederates may quickly have new names.

A panel established by Congress was tasked with recommending new names for Military posts that commemorate Accomplice troopers. The fee, made up of former navy officers, shared its proposals for 9 Military posts on Tuesday.
