Day 54-57 – Marion, Virginia – The Trek
Marion is a very cute small town, and the hostel for the hikers is on the downtown main street above the outfitter. The outfitter’s logo is a turtle, and I’m not sure why, but the whole town seems to have a thing for turtles. We were told upon our arrival to visit the reptile store in town (around the corner from the outfitter and hostel), where a 17 year old turtle lives.
