Five people are dead after a vehicular crash on July 18 at the intersection of the U.S. 77 access road and State Highway 89 in Sinton, according to a news release from the Texas Highway Patrol.
At 8:30 a.m., troopers arrived at the scene and determined a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee traveling south on the U.S. 77 access road had failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign and was struck on its passenger side by a 2011 Toyota Tundra traveling south on State Highway 89.
