Texas A&M WR Jordan Anthony enters the transfer portal

Texas A&M WR Jordan Anthony became the third Aggie receiver to enter the transfer portal on Saturday, reportedly doing so in order to be closer to home due to family health concerns.

Anthony transferred to A&M from Kentucky back in June, with the intention of playing football as well as running track. He played sparingly on the gridiron, catching three passes for 14 yards this season, though might have played a more significant role in 2024 if he was able to stay.

The Aggies now have three receivers in the portal this offseason, with Anthony joining Raymond Cottrell and Evan Stewart. The good news is there are also two WRs joining the Aggies from the portal for 2024 in Old Dominion’s Javon Harvey and Louisiana Tech’s Cyrus Allen.
