Texas A&M vs. No. 20 Oklahoma State in the TaxAct Texas Bowl: Prediction, point spread, odds, best bet
For the first time since the 2020 season, the Aggies will play in a bowl game for the first time without now-former head coach Jimbo Fisher roaming the sidelines.
Taking on the resilient No. 20-ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys in the TaxAct Texas Bowl next Wednesday, a dozen-plus players have entered the transfer portal, but for the most part, this team is still intact outside of the secondary, as both 2023 starting cornerbacks (Tyreek Chappell, Deuce Harmon)
While rumors regarding star Cowboys running back Ollie Gordon III’s potential entry into the transfer portal made its way through the news cycle this month, he is still on the team. He is slated to start on Wednesday night, pitting the Aggies’ depleted defensive line against one of the best-rushing attacks in the county.
However, if the A&M can at least prevent Gordon from gashing the gaps, Henderson, aided with a healthy offensive line, three healthy running backs, and, outside of wide receiver Evan Stewart, a complete wide receiver rotation, I’ll give the Aggies a slight edge in what should be an entertaining matchup.
Prediction: Texas A&M 21, Oklahoma State 17
