ROUND ROCK, Texas — Kansas head coach Dan Fitzgerald had a very stately press conference following a 7-4 win over a solid Texas State club.
For the Bobcats, he praised the continued outrageousness of red-hot freshman slugger Ryne Farber. Fitzgerald referred to the Texas State slugger as the ‘hottest player in the world’. He also hailed the greatness of his own, veteran catcher Jake English.
