Flood Advisory issued for several Central Texas counties

The Nationwide Climate Service (NWS) has issued a Flood Advisory for the next counties: Blanco, Burnet, Gillespie, and Llano.

The advisory is in impact till 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 31.

A second Flood Advisory has additionally been issued for San Saba and Mason County, efficient till 12:45 a.m. on Thursday, September 1.

NWS says minor flooding is probably going in low-lying and poor drainage areas as a result of extreme rainfall.

As of 8:30 p.m., NWS stories between 1-2.5 inches of rain have already fallen in parts of Central Texas.

Blanco, Gillespie and Llano County have obtained 3-6 inches of rainfall throughout the final 48 hours, based on NWS. 1-2 inches of further rainfall is predicted.
