TYLER, Texas — An inmate is again in custody after escaping from a jail transport van.

Video exhibits the Texas inmate making a run for it, however his freedom did not final for lengthy.

Investigators say Timothy Chappele escaped by kicking out the van’s window earlier than breaking into close by properties.

Esteban Rodriguez was with a close-by work crew when he noticed the inmate making a run for it.
