The Woman Scouts of the USA have bestowed one in all their highest honors on Uvalde, Texas, taking pictures sufferer Amerie Jo Garza.

Woman Scouts of the USA CEO Sofia Chang wrote a letter to the Garza household, saying it was an “honor and privilege” on behalf of your complete Woman Scout motion to award Garza with the posthumous badge.

“By means of her willingness to take decisive motion within the midst of this devastating emergency, Amerie serves as a real instance of management in motion,” she wrote.

“She was pleased with the badges she earned.”

The Woman Scouts of Southwest Texas took to Twitter this week to acknowledge Garza and share this honor.

They described how the younger Woman Scout did “all she might” to “save the lives of her classmates and lecturers.”

“It was our honor as Amerie’s council to current the Bronze Cross to her household,” the Southwest Texas troop tweeted in a thread.

The Woman Scouts continued to pay tribute to Amerie at her funeral providers on Tuesday with a presentation of colours.

“We are going to carry her story with us at all times and guarantee her courageous actions will endure for generations,” the tweet reads.

The Woman Scouts of Southwest Texas have offered assets on methods to assist their Uvalde sisters on their web site, together with sending personalised playing cards and giving financial and blood donations.

The troop posted a press release expressing how they felt “devastated” on the lack of Garza.

“Our hearts are damaged for her household and mates, together with all of those that have misplaced family members throughout this tragedy,” it reads.

Amerie Jo Garza was mentioned to be a “vivid and outgoing fourth grader who beloved Play-Doh, enjoying with mates at recess and being a Woman Scout.”

“Dozens of our women, volunteers and employees have now misplaced mates or members of the family, and we’re hurting alongside them.”
