In accordance with a information launch, Democratic candidates Jason Martin, Carnita Atwater and JB Smiley Jr. will take part in all three of the debates. The debates will happen on Could 26 in Knoxville, June 21 in Nashville and July 12 in Memphis.

Whoever goes on to win the August major will face off in opposition to Republican incumbent Gov. Invoice Lee, who’s operating for a second time period unopposed.

The final time Tennessee voters selected a Democrat for governor was in 2006 when Phil Bredesen was elected to the highest seat.
