Tennessee advanced to the College World Series for the second time in three years in 2023.

The 2023 campaign concluded Tony Vitello’s sixth season as the Vols’ head coach.

Vitello guided Tennessee to the 2021 and 2023 College World Series, while winning the 2022 Southeastern Conference regular-season and tournament championships.

Tennessee also advanced to the 2021 Southeastern Conference Tournament championship game after winning the league’s East division.
