NFL veteran praises former Tennessee WR Jalin Hyatt at Giants camp

Sports betting in Tennessee officially launched on November 1, 2020, and many of the largest sportsbooks are live and operating in the volunteer state. Tennessee is only one of a handful of SEC football states with legalized sports betting.
On Monday, NFL veteran and former Ohio State wide receiver Parris Campbell spoke to Hyatt’s game and demeanor at Giants camp. Here’s what he had to say:
“It’s like every time he’s out there, he’s catching a deep pass and he’s making a play….I’ve seen him come in and kind of be shy, kind of timid, but then kind of just break out into who he is and show his personality.” – Former Ohio State WR Parris Campbell on Jalin Hyatt pic.twitter.com/XtzlaryEX3

The knock on Hyatt – as plenty in Columbus would also say – is his perceived one-dimensional nature. That is, many believe he won’t quite work in the NFL because they believe his college efficiency came from being fast, not necessarily being a “complete receiver.”
But if the buzz out of Giants training camp is genuine Hyatt may surprise some people this season.
