Miss Tennessee Christell Foote placed in the top five during the 2024 Miss USA pageant hosted by Keltie Knight and Gracelle Beauvais at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday. The pageant queen, who was crowned Miss Tennessee last March at the Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tenn., competed in the final rounds of the competition before Miss Michigan Alma Cooper won the Miss USA 2024 title. Foote her looks merged various elements to stay true to her own individual style.
The model and marketing professional became a trending Google search after sharing that she embraces what makes her unique — standing at 6-foot-4 — and advocates for celebrating individuality.
Entrance Look
For her entrance look with her fellow pageant queens, Foote wore a fuchsia minidress courtesy of designer Sherri Hill. The strapless look, from the designer’s fall 2024 collection, featured a corseted bodice with exposed boning, mild fabric ruching at the waist and a pleated skirt.
Swimsuit and Sportswear
During the swimwear portion of the pageant, Foote opted for the Patriotic Stars two-piece courtesy of Heat Swimwear. The bikini included a stars-and-stripes pattern motif on both the top and bottom of the look. This particular swimwear also felt mildly influenced by the ongoing Paris 2024 Olympics, where a number of special guests and celebrities, like Kendall Jenner, have been spotted in variations on patriotic attire.
Evening Gown
For her evening gown attire during the Miss USA 2024 competition, Foote gave Old Hollywood glamour a sultry spin. The pageant queen wore a sleeveless black gown with a dramatic full skirt and a high-halter neckline encrusted with glittering red jewels. The gown also featured a plunging neckline with a shimmering red rosette jewel appliqué at the neckline’s base.
The 73rd Miss USA pageant featured representatives from all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The event was sponsored by swimwear brand Ema Savahl, fashion designer Sherri Hill, Heat Swim swimwear, Ricardo Patraca Crowns and Crown Couture Collection. Savannah Gankiewicz of Hawaii, Miss USA 2023, crowned Alma Cooper of Michigan as her successor who will go on to represent the United States at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico in November.
