Miss Rockabilly Volunteer and Miss Hub City Pageant returns to West Tennessee – WBBJ TV
HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn.- Residents of Henderson opened their doors to some special ladies.
Miss Tennessee Volunteer Teen welcomed some new young ladies to their team.
This year’s theme was Taylor Swift’s “Era” to usher in the new title holders’ for Miss Hub City and Miss Rockabilly Volunteer.
“I am really grateful for the entire experience within itself and, I’m excited to see what the new title holders are going to do with it,” Claire Criner, former Miss Hub City said.
The Miss Volunteer pageant competition are throughout the entire Tennessee area.
This particular pageant has over 3o girls competing in various category.
There were 7 young ladies crowned tonight with ages 10 to 26 competing.
“Everybody has had a private interview already, which counted for 25% of the score. Then there’s swimsuit talent and evening gown, all counting for 25%,”Katie Facello, assistant director for Miss Hub City and Rockabilly Volunteer.
Young ladies that are competing in the teen talents will compete in lifestyle and fitness instead of the swimsuit portion.
This is the first time that the title “Miss Rockabilly Volunteer” is given away to one young lady.
“We actually got the title in September, so we’ve been booking and planning but we’re going tomorrow to book our next venue for next year,” Facello added.
The title “Miss Alexandra” will be retired after the winner for “Miss Rockabilly Volunteer” to be crowned.
“This is the end of the “Miss Alexandria” era, and we will be moving on with the “Miss Rockabilly.” So she will go on and create a whole new platform for herself and be able to expand the Miss Tennessee Volunteer family even more,” Julianna Elsea, Miss Alexandria Volunteer, shared.
The winners from the pageant are Kristen Kiddy, Gracie Graves, Porsche Bradshaw, Sloan Wiggs, and Reese Davis.
