Former Vols’ quarterback debuts in Pac-12

Former Tennessee quarterback J.T. Shrout made his debut with Colorado Friday.

TCU defeated the Buffaloes, 38-12, in Boulder, Colorado.

Shrout transferred from Tennessee to Colorado in Dec. 2020.

He appeared in eight video games for the Vols from 2018-20.

Shrout accomplished 37-of-69 passing makes an attempt for 494 yards, 5 touchdowns and three interceptions at Tennessee.

After arriving at Colorado, Shrout injured his knee, requiring surgical procedure in the course of the second week of fall coaching camp. He missed the 2021 season attributable to harm.

Shrout practiced on a restricted foundation in the course of the spring forward of the 2022 season.
