Former Tennessee Bureau of Investigation director dies
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Larry Wallace, who led the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation from 1992 to 2003, has died.
The bureau confirmed his demise Saturday in a tweet, saying the company continues to profit from his 11 years of management.
Present TBI Director David Rausch advised WTVF-TV that he remembered Wallace as a person of integrity who labored to professionalize the state’s legal investigative company.
“He wished to encompass himself with those who understood the significance of being sincere and hardworking, and I see that within the Bureau at this time,” Rausch advised the station.
Earlier than his time with the bureau, Wallace served as chief of the Tennessee Freeway Patrol from 1987 to 1992.
Present Tennessee Freeway Patrol Colonel Matt Perry stated in a Fb submit that Wallace was chief who liked serving the state.
