GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WVLT) – A fire broke out near a construction site at Anakeesta on Wednesday night, according to Communications Manager Austin Martin.

Gatlinburg Fire Department and Gatlinburg Police Department crews responded to the scene. GFD Spokesperson Seth Butler said that crews were dispatched at around 9:23 p.m.

When they arrived, crews found a 12-foot by 12-foot structure completely involved in flames. Butler said that GFD crews were able to quickly put out the fire.

Video sent in by viewers shows the flames broke out at the Birdventure construction site, which is not accessible to the public, Martin said.
