9 Tennessee Cities Getting Grants for Industrial Sites

NASHVILLE, Tenn.. (AP) — 9 Tennessee cities and counties are receiving a complete of $7.6 million in grants for industrial growth tasks, state officers stated.

The brand new Web site Growth Grants will assist the 9 communities put together industrial websites for financial growth tasks and state certification, Tennessee’s Division of Financial and Group Growth stated in a information launch final week.

Functions have been reviewed by an advisory committee that features the Tennessee Valley Authority, a personal guide and the state departments of financial growth, surroundings and transportation.

Receiving grants are the Smoky Mountain Innovation Park of Cocke County, the East Tennessee Regional Agribusiness Advertising Authority, the Industrial Growth Board of Rhea County, the Savannah Industrial Growth Corp. and industrial parks in Clarksville, Lexington, Selmer, Lawrenceburg and Waynesboro.
