The 32-year-old reality star’s lawyer made the request, US Weekly reported on Wednesday, noting that authorities in Goose Creek, South Carolina confirmed the reality star wasn’t in attendance for the hearing.

Authorities told the outlet that Dennis’ legal team requested a jury trial and continuance in the proceedings.

Dennis was arrested May 20 in Goose Creek, South Carolina in connection with DUI after she was in a collision involving three vehicles.

Dennis, who has dealt with addiction issues in the past, had ‘glossy eyes’ and emanated ‘the odor of alcohol,’ officials said in an incident report obtained by DailyMail.com.

‘An unopened bottle of Fireball on the driver’s side floorboard’ was present in Dennis’ vehicle, while there was a ‘pink tumbler cup in the center console which was empty.’

Dennis declined to undergo a breathalyzer test, but did submit to a field sobriety test, in which she exhibited multiple signs of intoxication, authorities said.

Dennis was overheard on police camera saying aloud, ‘I passed that f***ing field sobriety test. This is some bull****. Like, I literally am not drunk.’

Dennis initially began appearing on the Bravo series 10 years ago, with her ex Thomas Ravenel, 61, prior to their breakup in 2016. The pair have had extended custody battles over their two kids – daughter Kensington, 10, and son St. Julien Rembert, eight.

Amid the custody battle, Dennis had custody of the two children stripped from her after a drug test she took came up positive for marijuana.

Dennis was granted 50-50 custody in 2017 after maintaining sobriety for two years.

Dennis sought to have the custody order amended in October of 2018 following Ravenel’s arrest in connection with a January 2015 incident involving a nanny who once worked for the former couple.

A judge in August of 2019 ordered for Ravenel to retain primary custody of the kids, dividing his time with Dennis.
