South Carolina man allegedly assaulted man with sword near Bennettsville, deputies say

MARLBORO COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A South Carolina man allegedly assaulted a person with a sword Wednesday close to Bennettsville, in keeping with the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Workplace.

Emmanuel Singleton, 45, of Cheraw, was arrested and charged in reference to the assault, in keeping with deputies. He was taken into custody close to Tatum and brought to the Marlboro County Detention Heart on a $75,000 bond. If he posts bond he will probably be required to put on GPS monitoring, deputies stated.

Deputies have been referred to as Wednesday to a house on Hickory Grove Highway for the assault. The sufferer was taken to an out-of-state hospital to have surgical procedures for his accidents, in keeping with the sheriff’s workplace.
