South Carolina man accused of soliciting what he thought was a 14-year-old
WALHALLA, S.C. (WSPA) – The Oconee County Sheriff’s Workplace arrested a Seneca, S.C. man Thursday for soliciting a minor.
Deputies stated round 2:15 p.m., 36-year-old Justin Turner Cheek was transported to the Oconee County Detention Heart from the Warrants Bureau on prices of distribution of methamphetamine and felony solicitation of a minor.
In keeping with the sheriff’s workplace, the solicitation cost was obtained from an investigation by the Felony Investigations Bureau.
Investigators stated on Feburary 25, Cheek tried to solicit intercourse and express pictures from an internet account he believed was operated by a 14-year-old.
Deputies stated the drug cost was obtained on April twenty seventh from a visitors cease the place Cheek was the motive force on Smith Dairy Street close to Freeway 59. Deputies stated 1.88 grams of methamphetamine was discovered within the automobile.
Cheek stays in custody on a $40,000 bond, deputies stated.
