South Carolina DNR offers free boat inspection

(QUEEN CITY NEWS) — To assist boaters put together for a fun-filled vacation weekend, the South Carolina Division of Pure assets shall be holding courtesy boat inspections at a number of public boat landings throughout the Palmetto State.

SCDNR mentioned its officers will carry out a “fast, however thorough” inspection to ensure boats have the required security gear and correct boat and motor registration.

Inspections are voluntary and should not required earlier than launching watercraft, officers added.

SCDNR mentioned anybody that’s discovered to not be in compliance will NOT be ticketed throughout the complimentary inspections.
