Brian Kelly and his recruiting staff took a trip to Winter Columbia, South Carolina, to extend an offer to a three-star tight end from the 2025 recruiting class. To land him, the Tigers will have to fend off South Carolina, who is a hometown favorite.

Mike Tyler is a 6-foot-4, 225-pound, three-star tight end from Columbia where he plays for Hammond High School. The Hammond Skyhawks finished the season 11-2 with a win over Laurence Manning Academy in the SCISA – AAAA state championship game.

There are Crystal Ball projections for South Carolina at this time and the Gamecocks are a 49% favorite to land him per On3.
