Kickoff, TV details released, not set for South Carolina football’s Week 8 game vs Oklahoma
COLUMBIA — South Carolina football will travel to play No. 16 Oklahoma in Norman for a Week 8 SEC matchup, but details won’t be finalized until Saturday night.
The SEC announced Monday that kickoff will either be at noon or 12:45 p.m. ET on Oct. 19, and that the game will either air on SEC Network or ESPN. The game time and network assignment will be finalized after the conclusion of Week 7 games Saturday.
It will be the first meeting for the Gamecocks (3-1, 1-2 SEC) and the Sooners (4-1, 1-1), as Oklahoma joined the Southeastern Conference on July 1.
In Week 6, the Gamecocks fell 27-3 to No. 8 Ole Miss, and the Sooners defeated Auburn 27-21. South Carolina faces No. 7 Alabama on the road this Saturday, and Oklahoma faces No. 1 Texas in Dallas
