Grandmother charged after 1-year-old overdoses on fentanyl, South Carolina police say

A grandmother in South Carolina has been charged after her 1-year-old grandchild overdosed on fentanyl, based on Blacksburg police.

Police mentioned they have been known as on Nov. 11, 2022, to a house on W. Clairborne Road for a kid in cardiac arrest.

The kid was taken to Atrium Well being Hospital in Shelby, North Carolina, for medical remedy after which taken to Mission Hospital in Asheville.

Police mentioned the kid overdosed on fentanyl. The kid’s grandmother, Amanda Carlton Oglesby, is charged with illegal conduct towards a baby. Oglesby was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Heart.
