Donald Trump to hold first 2024 campaign event in South Carolina

Republican former President Donald Trump on Jan. 28 will make the primary public look of his 2024 presidential run within the early voting state of South Carolina since saying his candidacy in November, his marketing campaign introduced on Tuesday.

Two well-known South Carolina Republicans – US Senator Lindsey Graham, one of Trump’s most loyal backers, and Governor Henry McMaster – will be a part of Trump on the State Home in Columbia as he unveils his marketing campaign’s state management crew, in keeping with the announcement.

South Carolina holds outsize affect as one of many first states to carry presidential nominating contests throughout election years.
