COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — A New 12 months’s Eve road social gathering in South Carolina’s capital metropolis will not be held once more, organizers stated.

Columbia’s Famously Scorching New 12 months began ambitiously in 2011 to present the town a approach to social gathering and have a good time.

The social gathering happened nearly in 2020 and was canceled in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Organizers lately determined it was time to finish the occasion, with the competition’s board saying in an announcement that they encourage individuals to “create new traditions across the vacation that embrace having fun with all that our vibrant area has to supply.”
