Red River Crop Conference in Southeast Oklahoma

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – We all know that the food we buy is mostly grown from farmers, but how are they able to find new ways to grow crops?

This conference is where farmers can discuss new ways on how to grow and take care of crops. Oklahoma is known for its unique climate change, which allows them to grown a wide range of produce to sell nationwide.

”So the plan was to get that information as local as possible and get that deiminated to the growers, so they can grind on that make decisions on implementing some of those new technologies up and new products to their farming operations” explained Randy Bowman.

The conference is annually held in Southwest Oklahoma and if you are interested in attending next years conference, mark your calendars for mid January 2025.
