FAIRVIEW — An oilfield employee was killed Thursday in an accident at a northwestern Oklahoma oil rig, officers stated.

In a press release, the Main County Sheriff’s Workplace says the accident was reported shortly earlier than 9 a.m. about six miles northeast of Fairview or about 130 miles northwest of Oklahoma Metropolis.

Emergency personnel arrived to search out Jerry Pollard of El Reno pulled right into a cable winch drum.

Pollard labored for Orco Service LLC on the rig owned by Stride Vitality LLC.
