Oklahoma Forestry Services battle wildfires

BROKEN BOW, Okla. (KXII) – The Oklahoma Forestry Providers crews are working 19 energetic wildfires throughout east-central and southeastern Oklahoma.

OFS stated the Blue Gap Fireplace, in McCurtain County, is positioned 3 1/2 miles northeast of Damaged Bow. It’s estimated at round 650 acres exhibiting excessive fireplace conduct or difficult fireplace suppression situations in heavy timber and pine plantations.

In keeping with a submit on the OSF’s Fb web page, Damaged Bow Fireplace Division has been referred to as in, as a precaution, to assist defend buildings within the space.

In keeping with the submit, as of 5:20 p.m. Monday, no evacuation orders are in impact.
