Oklahoma Announces Future Football Series With San Diego State

One other piece of Oklahoma’s future non-conference schedule has fallen into place.

With the Sooners’ impending transfer to the SEC, it has been well-documented that OU would want to interchange a bevy of non-conference tilts with SEC foes since these will now be convention matchups.

A part of that has now been formally addressed on Thursday, as Oklahoma introduced a future three-game collection with San Diego State starting in 2027.

The Aztecs will come to Norman in 2027 and 2031, with the Sooners returning the journey to San Diego in 2029.

“As a result of our eventual transfer to the SEC, we have had some shifts to our schedule with the cancellation of a number of collection involving present packages from that league,” Oklahoma athletic director Joe Castiglione stated in a launch. “We admire our followers’ understanding associated to these modifications and sit up for asserting extra schedule updates sooner or later.
