Oklahoma Announces Addition of Jacolb Cole

Oklahoma formally introduced the signing of 2023-24 ahead Jacolb Cole on Friday in the course of the early nationwide signing interval.

Cole, a 6-foot-8 senior from Bellaire, TX, is a 4-star prospect by ESPN and Rivals and a 3-star by 247Sports. He’s ranked No. 69 on the ESPN100, No. 107 nationally by Rivals and the No. 6 participant in Missouri by 247Sports.

“Jacolb’s size, versatility and athleticism permit him to play a number of positions and be impactful on the defensive finish,” coach Porter Moser stated in an OU press launch. “He’s a prepared passer with glorious ball dealing with expertise and he makes use of his size to create off the bounce.

Cole attended Bellaire Excessive Faculty for 3 years and moved to Missouri for his senior season at Hyperlink Academy. He averaged 16.8 factors and eight.5 rebounds per contest in 84 begins for Bellaire.

He attended the 2022 USA Basketball Junior Nationwide Staff April minicamp and was one in all 16 finalists for the 2021 USA U16 Nationwide Staff roster.

Cole was named 2021-22 6A Area 3 District MVP and earned 6A All-Area honors. He averaged 22.5 factors, 10.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.0 steals and a couple of.0 blocks per recreation in 28 video games and led Bellaire to a 21-9 end and an look within the 6A regionals.
