Clemson is the best team Oklahoma’s played since Texas in the Big 12 Tournament. This has the makings of a series that should be close, but with this Oklahoma team, it’s hard to imagine them not continuing their dominant run.

They were completely unfazed by the postseason setting last weekend and dominated each game in run-rule fashion. All of this on a weekend that saw some highly ranked teams struggle like UCLA.

Clemson’s Valerie Cagle does everything for them. She’s their best hitter and best pitcher and is going to make some noise in this series.

The difference is the depth. Oklahoma has an incredible lineup that can beat you 1 through 9, led by Jayda Coleman, Tiare Jennings, Alyssa Brito, and Kinzie Hansen. The Sooners’ pitching staff is the best in the nation. Jordy Bahl, Nicole May, and Alex Storako each have the ability to absolutely shut down their opponent.

The Sooners are just too good. There doesn’t seem to be a weakness. Oklahoma sweeps the series to advance to the Women’s College World Series, setting the all-time record for consecutive wins in the process.
