MARIETTA, Okla. (KXII) – An Oklahoma racehorse has brought home the gold this weekend.

Last weekend, we told you about Quarterhorse breeder Bill Price and his horse “BP Cartel Policy,” as they got ready to race in the Los Alamitos Winter Derby in California.

BP Cartel Policy set the fastest time going into the trials at the derby in January, facing some of the top quarterhorse competitors across the country.

On Saturday night, BP Cartel Policy swept the track, placing first in his class to win $174,000 in the 400-meter race.
