I-35 Experiencing Traffic In Southern Oklahoma Closed Due To Deadly Multi-Vehicle Crash
Authorities are responding to the scene of a deadly multi-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Carter County.
The crash happened on the southbound lanes of Interstate 35 near US-77.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said there’s at least one person dead as a result of the crash.
One southbound lane has been reopened between US-77 and SH-53, and the closure is expected to last several hours.
The northbound lanes were closed, but have since been reopened.
Traffic is being diverted to Exit 47 on to US-77 in Murray County.
It is unknown what caused the crash at this time.
