Early voting set to begin across Oklahoma for June 18 primaries
LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – Early voting for the upcoming June 18 primaries is fast approaching for voters all across Oklahoma, including in the Southwest portion of the state.
Thursday, June 13, marks the first day of early voting for the races scheduled for June 18. Early voting is open to all voters in the state.
“You do not need to provide an excuse to vote early. Oklahoma allows early voting for all elections conducted by the County Election Board or State Election Board,” said Amy Sims, Secretary of Comanche Election Board.
Early voting for these races will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., on both June 13, and 14. Voters will also be able to go to the ballot box for early voting from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, June 15.
Those wanting to vote early in Comanche County can do so by going to the Comanche County Courthouse. Early voting will not take place at polling locations.
If you have any questions about early voting, you can call the Comanche County Election Board at 580-353-1880, or contact them through email at comanchecounty@elections.ok.gov.
