2 senior men drown in Oklahoma lake

PAWNEE COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) – Two senior males drowned in a Pawnee County lake on Monday.

Willis C. Smith, 87, and Jerry D. Smith, 74, each of Sapulpa, Okla., died once they drowned in Lake Keystone, in keeping with Oklahoma Freeway patrol officers.

Each males have been pronounced useless on the scene one mile east of Cowskin Bay Ramp on Lake Keystone, simply north of the south shore and eight miles southeast of Cleveland, Okla., OHP officers stated.

Willis and Jerry Smith have been each on a ship that turned disabled after which capsized at roughly 4:55 p.m. Monday.

Each males fell into the water and drowned.

Willis Smith’s physique was recovered from 22-foot-deep water at 5:02 p.m. Jerry Smith’s physique was recovered from 22-foot-deep water at 7:55 p.m., OHP officers stated.
