WILMINGTON, N.C. — The Wilmington Worldwide Airport had flights grounded after the suspected Chinese language surveillance balloon entered it is airspace Saturday.

The balloon was shot down round 2:40 p.m. and particles from the balloon fell into the Atlantic Ocean.

Pete Mishler, who owns the Sands Ocean Membership in Myrtle Seashore, South Carolina, captured the second plane shot down the balloon.
