North Carolina unemployment rate up from August

RALEIGH, N.C. (WITN) – The North Carolina Division of Commerce launched the newest unemployment numbers for September.

The state’s seasonally adjusted September 2022 unemployment fee was 3.6 %, rising 0.1 of a share level from August’s revised fee. The nationwide fee decreased 0.2 of a share level to three.5 %.

North Carolina’s unemployment fee decreased 0.9 share factors from a 12 months in the past.
