North Carolina Rep. Deborah Ross Tests Positive for COVID-19

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — U.S. Rep. Deborah Ross stated she examined constructive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.

In a tweet, the first-term Democrat from Raleigh representing the 2nd Congressional District stated she’s experiencing gentle signs. She stated she is going to quarantine and keep away from touring, consistent with pointers from the U.S. Facilities for Illness Management and Prevention.

“I’m grateful to be vaccinated & boosted and for advances in know-how that enable me to proceed representing #NC02 throughout this time,” she wrote.

Ross, 58, a former state Home member and 2016 U.S. Senate candidate, is the newest political determine serving in Washington to announce a constructive check.

Vice President Kamala Harris and Sens. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., and Chris Murphy, D-Conn., all examined constructive on Tuesday.
