North Carolina Rep. David Price shares news of wife’s death
Rep. David Value (D-N.C.) stated his spouse Lisa Value, an activist for civil rights, environmental safety and gun management, died on Thursday in Chapel Hill, N.C.
David Value stated his spouse was his “life associate” and a “supporter of every part I undertook,” in an announcement launched on Thursday afternoon.
“I used to be immensely happy with her management roles, from Alderman in New Haven to being on the proper hand of two Chapel Hill mayors, co-founding and main North Carolinians Towards Gun Violence, and campaigning energetically for civil rights, environmental protections, animal welfare, and the Kidzu Kids’s Museum,” Value wrote.
David Value, 81, has represented North Carolina’s 4th Congressional District since 1987. Final 12 months, he introduced he would retire from the general public workplace.
Lisa Value, 82, died after a battle with most cancers, based on a spokesperson from the congressman’s workplace.
