SYLVA, N.C. (AP) — A North Carolina police officer is being hailed for saving a 4-year-old autistic boy who authorities say was “as much as his shoulders” in a fast-moving creek.
The Sylva Police Division says on its Fb web page that the dad and mom of the kid known as this week to say their son had wandered away from dwelling. Cops, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Workplace and personal residents joined in a seek for the misplaced little one, police mentioned.
