North Carolina Humanities is turning 50!

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 27, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Be part of North Carolina Humanities on October 11, 2022 as they have fun and mirror on 50 years of studying, sharing, and rising collectively and stay up for what’s forward throughout this particular anniversary occasion in Charlotte, NC. The fiftieth Anniversary Celebration will spotlight their previous and present work as they decide to 50 extra years of lifelong studying.

NC Humanities will entertain with scrumptious hors d’oeuvres, drinks, networking, and stay jazz music carried out all through the night by a number of NC Humanities board trustees! Jazz musicians and trustees Todd Wright and Douglas Jackson, with vocalist and board chair Lorna Ricotta, will share their musical abilities alongside Charlotte musicians.

The Celebration will culminate with the memorable presentation of NC Humanities’ 2022 John Tyler Caldwell Award for the Humanities to Charlotte journalist and documentarian Steve Crump. Crump is being honored with this prestigious award for his lifelong dedication to inventive documentary storytelling and truthful, in-depth information reporting.
