North Carolina Democratic Get together (NCDP) Chair Bobbie Richardson, LGBTQ+ Democrats of North Carolina President Tyler Beall, and NCDP Transgender Political Caucus President Angela Bridgman launched a joint assertion to commemorate Satisfaction Month. 

“This Satisfaction month, North Carolina Democrats have fun what began greater than 50 years in the past, and reaffirm our dedication to combating hate and combating for equality. Whereas President Biden and North Carolina Democrats proceed to make progress in defending the LGBTQ+ group, this work is much from full.

“Our state’s highest-ranking Republican, Mark Robinson, spews hateful anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric and Republicans on the Basic Meeting are pushing a North Carolina ‘Don’t Say Homosexual’ Invoice. It’s clear that the North Carolina Republican social gathering fails to display the respect and integrity wanted to make our state welcoming and profitable.

“As Democrats, we should proceed to reject hateful laws that threatens to erode progress. We select to face with and have fun our LGBTQ+ group as a result of nobody needs to be discriminated towards for who they’re or who they love.”
