NC Legislature Advances Budget Agreement Closer to Governor
By GARY D. ROBERTSON, Related Press RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina’s Republican-controlled legislature on Thursday superior its proposed state finances changes nearer to Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper’s desk, voting for a plan that might spend or salt away billions extra with out added tax cuts.
