RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) — A North Carolina Republican lawmaker filed laws Wednesday that may restrict abortion besides when a mom’s life is at risk.

Rep. Keith Kidwell, R-Beaufort, was joined by Rep. Ben Moss, R-Richmond and Rep. Ed Goodwin, R-Chowan, in submitting Home Invoice 533, also referred to as the Human Life Safety Act of 2023.
