Live updates: Snow arrives in North Carolina with flurries at Kerr Lake

The Triangle is expecting 3-6 inches of snow accumulation through Sunday.

Some areas in North Carolina could see as much as 10 inches of snow.

While some of the snow starts Friday night, it will ramp up Saturday.

WRAL meteorologist Kat Campbell said the heavier snow is expected Saturday afternoon into Saturday night.
