Investigation underway after 3 children die at North Carolina military base in a day
Three youngsters died in someday at a North Carolina navy base earlier this month – prompting an investigation into the mysterious matter, a report stated.
The deaths occurred in two separate incidents at Camp Lejeune on April 16, navy officers advised WNCT.
Officers wouldn’t disclose how the kids died, however confirmed they weren’t shot.
“We’re conscious of the tragic passing of three dependent youngsters in two separate incidents on MCB Camp Lejeune April 16, and supply our deepest condolences to the households of these affected,” a US Marines spokesperson advised the outlet in an announcement.
“Out of respect for the households and the investigative course of, we aren’t offering extra info,” the assertion continued.
NCIS is investigating the deaths. No arrests linked to the instances have been reported.
