Florida State men’s basketball (7-2) is looking for a bounce-back win after suffering its second loss on the season at LSU during the ACC/SEC Challenge on Monday.

FSU has that opportunity in its first ACC matchup against North Carolina State (5-3)

While the Seminoles’ shooting night against the Tigers was rough, their bright spot was their big man, Malique Ewin. Ewin recorded his first double-double with 17 points and 17 boards, a career-best for the junior college transfer.

His 17-rebound performance was tight for most in a single game since Michael Joiner in 2001.

His double-double marked the first time a Seminole had at least 17 points and 17 rebounds since Michael Polite dropped 24 points and 17 rebounds against La Salle in 1990.

Ewin has been double figures in seven of the last eight games.

NC State also lost to an SEC team against Texas, 63-59. After a five-game winning streak, the Wolfpack lost three straight, including back-to-back road losses to 13th-ranked Purdue and BYU.

The Wolfpack is led by senior guards Jayden Taylor, who averages 13.5 points per game, and Marcus Hill, who averages 11.4 points a game.

With his 6-foot-10, 240-pound frame, Brandon Huntley-Hatfield could also be a threat inside and a matchup to watch against Ewin. He averages 10.6 points and six rebounds per game.

Here is how to watch.
